Tuesday
I saw Dr. Nerurkar (one of my Hawaii mentors) in a powerpoint presentation in PHRII(Public Health Research Institute of India). It was really funny because to me, both my mentors (Ms. Poornima Jay in red) and Dr. Nerurkar looks exactly the same even though this picture was taken couple years ago! What is their secret to youth???
Good food with good companions is the best combination! So far, I am happy to say that everything that I ate is out of this world! Everything taste really good. Everyday, my roommates and I try to go out and experience the authentic Indian food!
Wednesday- off day!
Today is Ramzan holiday therefore it is my first day off of work! My roomates and I took this opportunity to explore the famous Mysore palace as well as other famous sightseeings. The palace was very beautiful. Everything from the door to the designs are very intricate and complex. Although the weather was very hot, we still enjoyed the view inside and outside of the palace!
Friday -Yay Day!
This friday, I was able to experience the first power outage and the first rain! The power outage lasted for around 5-6 hours. It was very hot and humid. There was not a single breeze! Until around a little later than 6 PM, the breeze started coming in with lots of rain! It was very refreshing!
